Flag and Banner types
TRADITIONAL FLAG TYPES
- NYLON
Our most popular flag fabric. Durable, sun resistant, bright colors.
Flies easily in a light breeze, dries quickly. Many traditional flags
are available ONLY in Nylon.
- POLYESTER
Heavy Duty and longest lasting, with deep colors, and an appearance
similar to cotton, but most useful only in high wind locations, as
it does not fly well in light breezes. Usually available in 50 Star
United States flags only.
- COTTON
Traditional character and authenticity. Deep colors and rich to the
touch, but not as durable as more modern flag fabrics. Available in
50 Star and Historic United States flags only, as fabric supplies
permit.

FLAG STYLES
"HEADING AND GROMMET"
is the standard finish for United States Flags as well as for Nations,
Military, Historic and many others. A canvas band is sewn to the left
side of the flag, with brass grommets at top and bottom corners. Fasten
to your upright pole with "flagsnaps" on the "halyard"
OR fasten to a pole and bracket set with "flag fasteners"
or "tie wraps".
"SLEEVED"
flags are a modern finish for flags which will fly on a pole and bracket
set, which allows the pole to slide through the sleeve on the left
side of the flag, or across the top edge in the case of a decorative
flag. A tab inside the sleeve allows the flag to button onto a screw
at the top of the pole, or onto an optional "unwrapper tube".
